Aston Martin has confirmed the first public display of the complete One-77 concept

Aston Martin has confirmed the first pubic display of the complete One-77 concept will be held at the world renowned Concorso d’Eleganza event in the grounds of the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este on the shores of Lake Como, Italy on 24-26 April 2009. The One-77 is Aston Martin’s definitive sports car, one that epitomises everything Aston Martin from technology, hand-craftsmanship of the hand rolled aluminium panels to the attention to detail. A culmination of all the marque’s know-how, the One-77 delivers effortless beauty guaranteed to stir the senses with performance potential eclipsing any previous Aston Martin


Everything will be showcased; from the actual 7.3-litre V12 engine to the interior design with its handmade parts and what Aston calls "exotic materials". The company says it's their "money-no-object commitment to quality" that will make the One-77 stand out from the crowd.


Aston Martin Chief Executive, Dr Ulrich Bez said: “The One-77 demonstrates the unique capabilities of our company – it encompasses engineering excellence with a great passion from our engineers, designers and technical partners.


Aston Martin is placing a lot of emphasis on how amazing this car will be, on how it will shift the boundaries between art and automotive design. It is really the culmination of AM's technological know-how, its craftsmanship and performance prowess.

Special Editions：Mosler MT900 GTR XX Sales Begin

The 2009 Mosler MT900 GTR XX has finally gone on sale in Europe. The company's 20th anniversary car passed Euro4 emissions tests, as well as quality checks performed by TUV Rheinland. Once the official word was handed down on both crash testing and electro magnetic compatibility testing, European and UAE sales were approved.


Weighing in at 2450 pounds (1111 kg), the car gets its power from a Corvette LS7 engine. When it was announced, the company had said they wanted to reduce the weight further with carbon Recaros, KW suspension, and MOVIT ceramic brakes in addition to the use of composite carbon fiber and Kevlar. In a press release, the company says that the result is a car that "allows the driver to brake deeper, carry higher speeds into and through the corners, and accelerate harder." Sounds good.

Autoblog stops at the Symbolic Motors Annual Spring Event '09

Symbolic Motors just held their Annual Spring Event to showcase all the new models from the high-end manufacturers they represent in their San Diego dealerships. The latest and greatest from Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, Lotus and Spyker were on display, along with some of the restoration projects the firm is carrying out in their Sorrento Valley facilities. Just for good measure, they also invited a few of their friends to bring along their own favorite wheels.


That meant there was a Ferrari Enzo, a Pratt & Miller C6RS Corvette, a couple of Miuras, a McLaren F1 GTR, a Porsche 962, an ex-Mario Andretti racer, two Bugatti Veyrons, a Koenigsegg CCX, a Lamborghini Reventon, a Blastolene special, and the sixth and final Ferrari Daytona prototype, to name but a few outstanding examples. In addition to the incredible cars on display, Symbolic threw open the doors to their shop and made staff available to answer questions. If that wasn't enough, there was free food and live music, as well as raffles throughout the day. Pagani Zonda R Official Commercial Trailer Released have Video

Imposing and elegant in the halls of Palexpo exhibition in Geneva, but more shy and less on the haunting new video promo of the Pagani Zonda R proposes that the siter Supercarmovies. Is still a staging licked attractive for a supercar. To discover, therefore, for a simple but fun fun!


Of course nothing new about the Pagani Zonda R, bomb last line signed Horacio Pagani in the same vein as other supercars as exclusive as diabolical as the Ferrari FXX and Maserati MC12. For the record, the Pagani Zonda R takes a block of AMG 6 liter, 750 horses for a couple of 710 Nm at 5 700 rpm.


In terms of pure performance, the radical Zonda R sends wood showing 350 km / h in peak speed and requiring only 2.8 seconds to lower the claquer 0 to 100 km / h. Too bad the video below does not put this forward. To see anyway for the good mouth.

Supercars _ GTA Concept to Launch Next Month

Spain's first supercar will be officially launched at the end of April. Manufactured by GTA Motors, the GTA Concept's real name will be revealed at the launch. A total of only 99 units of the two-door supercar will be produced.

Powering the GTA Concept is a V10 engine producing 780hp (574kW) and 920Nm of torque. It uses a 7-speed sequential-manual gearbox with paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Full automatic drive can be activated on demand.

EV Innovations to unveil Wave and Inizio electric-cars in New York

Tesla and Fisker are the only two start-ups making a huge wave with the development of their electric-vehicles and plug-in hybrid cars. EV Innovations from Mooresville, N.C. will now jump in on the game with two new electric sports car that will make their debut at the 2009 New York Auto Show.

The first will be a sporty commuter car called the Wave. EV Innovations says that the Wave will have the capability to travel 170 miles on a single charge with a top speed of 80-mph.

Corvette GT1 Commemorative Edition Unveiled Ahead Of Sebring

GM's releasing the Jake-festooned GT1 Commemorative Edition Corvette because, well, because the world needs more value-added special editions. A closer look at Chevy's painted-up version of a Z06 celebrating C6.R racing domination.


GM does have a lot to celebrate in its class-dominating race program and the C6 is a pretty fabulous car despite what Corvette detractors might say. The Z06? Even more so. But painting one up in black and yellow and calling it a special edition still feels a might bit silly even with what the Corvette team views as added value componentry. But, since inception Corvette has utterly dominated it's GTS class (due in part to class emptiness) and this edition is designed to pay homage to those rip-snorting race cars.

Aston Martin One-77 Episode 3 in Video

Any time you spend $100,000 or more on a vehicle, it's clearly an emotional decision. It's hard to rationalize an expenditure of that magnitude on, say, a Bentley, when a Chevy Cobalt will get you to the grocery store just as easily.

Sure, it's not as fast or luxurious, but it handles the task. So if emotion drives high-dollar car purchases, the car needs to appeal to more than just practicality.
